We want to inform you that we are voluntarily recalling our 3oz Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate bars (UPC 8 7449200325 8) with lot code 3092529 with a Best-By date of 1/2020, after discovering a small number of bars may contain undeclared milk.
Consuming this product may cause an allergic reaction for people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk. This product is safe for all other people.
We are voluntarily recalling a small number of 3oz Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate bars after discovering some were mislabeled and shipped to select distributors, retail stores and consumers, because they may contain milk. We are sharing this for your awareness and safety.
No other product sold under the Theo Chocolate brand is affected by the recall.
As soon as this error was discovered, we took immediate action and corrected the packaging process. We believe less than 150 incorrectly packaged bars were distributed, and we are working with distributors and retailers to secure them.
